Hello world.

Meet us – the designers of ärta. We’re a motley crew with the aspiration to entertain your senses through the juxtaposition of unexpected colors, materials and textures. Inspired by Seattle and the communities within it, we draw from musical, artistic and culinary experiences to create housewares products that add a little oomph to the ordinary.

Our goal for this blog is to share our aesthetic and culture with you and vice versa. Be it through product features, event recaps or random musings, the ärta blog is place for expressing opinions and ideas about design and its process. We encourage to peruse our product collections (housed within the links below) and leave a comment or two. We’re eager to hear your thoughts.

I just bought your tea leaf infuser shaped like a flower pot, and I do love the design. I just wish it had a saucer to catch drips after use. I also considered the apple on a tree one, but it didn't have a chain to pull it out of the cup.

I've been looking for a beautiful infuser to use at work (and leave on the desk as decoration) and I am thrilled to have found such a fun one! I bought my own little square green sauce bowl to use as a saucer, to keep with the garden theme.
